We’re Changing the World

CrowdDoing global volunteers use research and practice to achieve aspirational impact goals. We bring exceptional talent together, in integrated teams that build a dynamic force for social innovation. We start by measuring resources needed to achieve desired outcomes, then assemble teams around common goals. Our process ultimately results in effective systemic change.

What We Do

CrowdDoing aims to achieve systemic change through “compound intrinsic leverage for impact”. Leverage for impact is the concept of measuring how much effect is required to achieve what level of outcome or impact. Each source of leverage represents a kind of resource that has not been connected to a problem-solving context. Compound leverage becomes feasible when multiple under-utilized capacities are connected together. For example, systemic change can be resourced through a combination of new participation of stakeholders, prevention of anticipatable liabilities, and the reuse of otherwise wasted materials. Leverage comes from under-utilized capacities that are integrated into relevance resourcing of social innovation. CrowdDoing global volunteers help to connect research and practice to help make aspirational impact goals feasible.

PROJECT MANAGER

Biophelia- Plant Walls

I was motivated to join the Biophelia project by an event I had attended and the calls on green walls. I wanted to dive deeper but felt that I did not know how to be of more use to this cause. Through this role, I have learned more about green walls and the research into what markets them and factors to consider. I also found that managing so many people remotely is an impressive and useful skill to have in life.
